There are literally thousands of ways to earn income from home or on the go. It’s not hard to imagine being short on cash and adding some of those old items sitting around the house collecting dust to your favorite social media site.

You’ve seen it, the ads that appear while you scroll your social page, those household items, campers, old books, fishing rods, and house boats are all ways that a person can earn from home.

Don’t limit yourself.

If you’ve run out of items to sell and need to find other options, consider opening email – a very slow process of earning extra income, but still an option.

When my children were young my job was to be a mother; the best I knew how to be.

Time was spent doing things that the typical mom does but the need for income was also something I wanted to have just for those times when the children and I wanted a treat of sorts. Nothing fancy or expensive, just a little something.

During that time many companies needed so many hours worked, or writing, editing, and link checking required perfection before turn in, and being at a sickly baby’s beckoned call wasn’t something any company was interested in dealing with.

Opening email was flexible enough that I found myself finding just enough time here and there to open an email offered me some solitude and a way to escape mommy/baby time without spending or leaving the children.
